Helllooo Butt!

Its Mid September and Ive noticed a HUGE difference in my body shape.  What was once round and all one dimension before now shows curvy hips, a perky butt and shapely thighs.  I did slip a bit and due to alot of things going on I didnt exercise for nearly two weeks.   Its amazing how being lazy can make you look at yourself and go really... you sat on your ass.  Now you got sooooo much make up work to do!

  


My weight jumped  and lemme tell you!  It is easy for the squish to come back!  So I have been hard at work reminding myself WHY I should not do that again! This was taken this morning :)

 

Today was legs and back & ab ripper.  My calves are still singing!  I have some very proud information to inform my readers about!  Leon my husband has started P90X himself as his personal PT in the mornings!  I love to exercise about 11am.  That way I get up get my household things done and then I am ready to bounce.  Leon however likes to get up at the crack of dawn and jump right into it.  My body is like no, screw that noise.  I am in love with the bed way too much to get up and start moving like that!  So we exercise on separate schedules but it works for us!   Ive always wanted to be the "fit couple".  Hehe

Measurements

Okay decided to take a few measurements just now.  Here is my starting info:

HIPS: 53.5"
WAIST: 44"
PANTS SIZE: 20-22

As of 8/31/13

HIPS: 42.5"
WAIST: 38.5"
PANTS SIZE 14-16



Nicole "Coco" Austin's measurements are 39"-23"-40", 39DD bra size, Is 5 foot 2 inches and weighs 130lbs.

I am 38"-38.5 - 42.5", 38DDD bra size and 5 foot 1.5" and weighs 220lbs.  I have a 90lb weightloss goal.  Then I will have achieved what I was wanting from post #1.

Just got my new yoga pants in the mail.  I had to put them on and here it is folks!  Size 12/14 Yoga Pants.

Sweat Angel

Hey everyone!  I am finally done with vacations for the year.  Puppy season has arrived and we have a female breeding now so yay.  Its officially fall.  Yesterday I got my "Blessed By the Sweat Angel" tank that I ordered from G2Oh.  I love it!  I am still holding around 222 to 219 at the moment but that is expected since I spent 3 weeks on the road and not really keeping with my P90X.  I did walk ALOT about 20 miles during Gencon though so I am sure a difference in muscle confusion helped out rather than sitting on my duff eating snackies and watching TV.  I have still seen an improvement though!

Body shape is different.  Legs looking better :)  I have to say I am still quite pleased.  Well off for here right now.  Gotta get my Yoga on!

PHOTO UPDATES!!!

Well sorry for the lack of updates.  Ive been crushing P90X hard core with my girl Petra.  The scale keeps fluctuating so really I would be only reposting old photos.  BUT.  As I spoke on this matter before muscle weighs more than fat.  I have been creating lean muscle and burning fat. I felt as if I was not getting any smaller and felt like crap.  Remember I was a size 20/22?  Notice I said WAS.


Petra insisted I was getting smaller. Yes I have noticed my shoulders are starting to show and are noticeably smaller and I can feel vastus medialis.  Which is the upper most part of your thigh near your hip bone.... uh Ill just post a pic.  
The red marks are where the pelvic bone protrudes forward. I can actually feel these now.  My upper thighs have flattened out and my belly "apron" as shrunk to the point when I put my hands here I can actually feel the bony protuberance!  So exciting!

Anyhow not only that.  Petra came by and bought me a snazzy new outfit since my older pink one was getting a bit baggy.  She bought me a size 12/14. I smiled and was grateful but at the same time I KNEW this was not going to fit.  But in a good show of faith I tried the clothes on.  I put on one leg at a time.  The pants were a bit snug but they went up!  I was astounded!  I then pulled up my shirt and tried on the tanktop.  It was snug too but it fit as well!  No super restrictive or cutting feeling as I put myself through bends and stretches.  I was actually wearing a 12/14!  I almost came to tears.


I ran to my room and got my favorite pair of capris. Now I know these were baggy, and falling off so I tossed them to the side.  Thinking I would be back in them soon.  Boy was I wrong.  These are 20/22 capris.  I dont think I will be going back.  But I will always keep them to say to myself.  This is where I came from, this is where I am NEVER going back!

I have now been doing P90X for 38 days roughly.  I have not felt this good in a long time.  I cannot thank Beachbody coaches and leaders enough for this wonderful program.  But most of all my friend Petra.  Without her I would have stopped in week 1.  I would not have continued.  Thank you my friend.  I cant wait to see what the future brings us!

HOLY CRAP!!!!

This morning I got up as normal. I felt bad for not exercising Friday but my knee was killing me.  I decided to exercise in the pool instead.  So instead of P90X I did laps and swam and enjoyed the water till late in the evening.  It was lovely.



Today after getting up I went to the scale.  222.6.  I shrugged because I know I am growing muscle and this is to be expected.  I got up called Petra and told her I had errands to run today.  We planned to exercise later in the day. I ran to Sanford and grabbed a few items I needed and then found myself at Dunham's Sporting Goods.  Meandering around I saw sports bras. I picked up a cute pink one and walked around for a bit while a chihuahua mama friend walked around for stuff for her son.  The more I looked around I knew I was not going to find pants in my size.  I wear a size 20/22 in pants.  Or so I thought...

I grabbed a xxl pair of shorts and slid them on.  As I stood in the mirror and turned to take a step they fell to the ground. With a very visible question mark above my head I picked them up and put them on again.  I held them and then removed my fingers.  They dropped again. A huge grin came across my face.  I then went out and picked out a pink XL pair.  These were size 16/18.  I wasn't too hopeful at that aspect as I went back to the dressing room.  They were short, the kind that "skinny girls" wear to impress guys at the gym.  I huffed to myself as I held the shorts up for inspection.  I slid one foot in and then the other.  I pulled them up slowly, expecting them to get stuck on my thighs.  To my amazement they came right up.


In disbelief I took my phone off of the bench and snapped a photo.  I then after I did my little happy dance I tried the bra on to see the full effect of the entire outfit.  Excited beyond belief I called for Jess (Chi-mom) to enter and take this photo for me. I was jumping around so much my hair fell down!  I thought the shorts a "bit" short for my personal taste.  I dont feel like being in "downward facing dog" and my cookie being visible so I opted for a different pair of shorts.


I greeted Petra at the door dressed like this.  I told her what had happened to me today.  I was so proud of myself.  And thankful!  If it wasn't for Petra I would not have been so successful.  The proper motivation and the positive attitude made everything fall into the proper place.  Thank you my friend.  Thank you from every fiber in my being.
BEFORE: 225lbs, size 20/22w 0% muscle tone
TODAY: 222lbs, size 16/18 5% muscle tone

DIFFERENCE: 4 dress sizes, 100% improvement in attitude

I'm Back Baby!

Hope everyone had a happy fourth!  Yesterday was great. We didn't do P90X, however with all the walking, swimming, grilling and laughing (really lots of that lovely core workout) we still kept active.  However I did miss out on Wednesday as well. Petra was sick and hubby and I were prepping for the 4th celebrations here at our house lawnmowing etc.

Today I got up, weighed in and was expecting to be over my start point weight (225) but I was pleasantly surprised with my scale at 220.6.




I decided instead of making another sheet with the same weight just to fold the date part down and use it that way.  Reason: I am low on computer paper lol.  So this blog will have to suffice for my record.

Knee was giving me a bit of an issue today but we worked through it. Used some ice therapy during the workout so that kept it tolerable. I really need to work up my leg strength in regards to tendons and patellar strength.  The grinding and burning is really starting to dampen my runners high.

Rain, Rain, Go Away....

This morning I woke up and stretched. Waved to Noah as he floated on by with two of each kind. Got on the scale.  221.4.  Since the rain kept me sleeping in I did not have time to do the Essential S's.  (Sh*t, Shower, Shave)  So be it.  Its time to work out!  I have been taking my waist measurements and hip measurements because I need a corset for GenCon in Indiana in mid August.

I had these items stored in my cart on ebay but then realized something.  I picked out a 20-22 pants, a corset to fit a 44" waist and boots and gloves etc.   Before I clicked purchase I was like oh wow.  Come August this stuff may be too, dare I say it, big?  Elation filled me as I took other measurements.  The gameday measurements were taken before I decided to do P90X.

Today's exercise was EPIC! I felt recharged and invigorated. Cardio X is awesome.  My knees and thighs are a little sore but that is nothing to my core!  I havent felt those muscles in FOREVER!  I feel my upper, side and lower abs very well this evening!  I am so beyond happy I cant even describe it.  So I started looking at the corset again with my new measurements showing my husband.  I am out of the sizes where it says this size +$10 or +$5, I can now order a size 32 corset!  So HOLY WOW!!!!!!!!

Up in weight, down in inches?!

Well its Monday evening.  Sorry for the late post but its been a busy busy day.  As you know Sunday was a rest day but I am up in weight. Its expected.  However, me losing an entire inch off my waist wasn't!  It was a pleasant surprise none-the-less.

Sorry i didnt get the typical "fireplace picture" today.  Like I said its been cra-zeee!  Ask Petra about my day haha!

Lazy Saturday. I woke up at 10.  Shuffled around the house for a bit.  I have a puppy customer coming to visit one of our adults today so after helping out with the yardwork I jumped in the shower to prepare for the arrival.  I toweled off and stepped on the scale...



 Its been one hot minute since Ive been a Teen anything! I was so happy to see this number.  Yes I know its only .2oz away from yesterday's weight but do you see me caring?  Noooooooo Ma'am!


Today's workout will be later in the day as I have Saturday errands to run (grocery store, feed store, bakery... etc) So tonight will be my workout update!

OH MY GAWD!!!!!  Kenpo will make your butt hurt in ways you never thought possible. Its a good feeling knowing I finished it out with Petra this evening and we cheered when we were done.  Had to take a break (P90X calls it a mini-vacation) now and then but during the break you keep moving no matter what.  NO sitting ALLOWED!  Sweat covered and exhausted I sat down to a  delicious dinner cooked by my wonderful husband and we watched Dr. Who Classic Episodes with the 6th doctor afterwards.  Now I am finishing out my blog and I am hitting the shower and heading to bed!  Goodnight all and I will re-blog again on Monday when we start up again!  Sunday is the rest day for P90X so no updates till then!  Have a great weekend and see you again soon!

Got up this morning and had a mess of stuff to do.  Sorry for the late post. We had chihuahuas come in this morning and had to handle all of that so now its time to relax and get back to my P90X.  Got my weigh in and I am still hanging steady at 220!  So HAPPY!



Today I am doing back and legs.  I am still sore from yoga yesterday and I only made it half way through the 1 1/2hr workout.  I felt like a failure but Petra has been doing it for years and she even said that those were advances poses and very hard to do.  We shall see what goes on today!  I am very excited about maintaining my weight. We even went out to dinner last night and we BELLIED UP on Chinese food.  Petra and I were chapperoning our two children's double date.  It was precious!  But we all overate!  I was so stuffed last night I went straight to bed.  I knew I was going to be way over this morning and mentally prepared myself but when I looked down and I saw that I gained a 1/2lb I was astonished!  So here's to todays workout.

Legs and back  was surprisingly doable!  The lunges were a bit hard on my wonked up knee (left knee/severe crepidis) but the pool afterwards made it all better.  Rachel took the day off since its my besties birthday!  <3 You!!!  But me & Petra rocked it today!  Excited about what tomorrow brings me!

Alright. I just woke up and went to the bathroom to do the stretch, moan and yawn.  Brush the fangs and step on the scale.  I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes and took a picture to look at after I had washed the sleep from my eyes and refreshed my brain. So here is the big event!  (Its early enough I haven't put on my exercise clothing yet but I will here shortly).



I am going to save all of my papers and make a little book out of it so I can show others where I came from and that they can to.  I am very ecstatic right now!  I have always been between 222-225 on the regular.  So seeing 220 this morning really made me smile!



There, here are the other photos.  Sorry had to get myself together this morning!  Just waiting on Rachel to arrive and then it will be game on. Today is YOGA X so get a little more flexibility in my routine! Yeah buddy!

Good morning!  So I got up, got dressed in my outfit this morning and stepped onto my scale.  I wanted a brand new scale so yesterday hubby picked one up from the store for me. A digital one.  Its hard to see the difference on an old school scale verses digital.  Weightloss can be charted more accurately on this.  So anyhow here we are.  We are down 1 whole pound!  Yes I know people fluctuate throughout the day but to me its something I can look forward to :)  My workout buddy will not be here today so I am on my own.  I am going to stick with my P90X.  I really wish I had somewhere private to exercise like a spare room.  The kids are a bit nosy for me and unless I get a case of the ass they will not hover over me while I am trying not to look like a complete fool.  Lord I love em to death but some things I just wish I could hide away and do in seclusion like THIS!  Eventually I may let them work out with me but as for right now I am trying to just get the hang of it!




 I need to get the ball rolling so today is a short blog!  Gotta get moving while the motivation is good!!! See you tomorrow!

Before working out I decided to go get my maid of honor and drag her over here to do P90X with me. We are the exact same size, wear the same size clothing (yes and wedding dress too!), only difference is she is taller than me.  She is at LEAST 5'6".  She got excited and came over so our kids played for our hour long workout (we did all 3 stages of Arms today).  Turns out females can do P90X as well as the men!  They just up our reps 8-10 to bulk up, 12-14 to tone and slim, I tried to push myself to 16 on all the exercises. They are broken down into 3 stages and a bonus round followed by a cool down.  The warm up jog was killing my already sore calves but I pushed through it and the burn was intense.  Since we had no weights or bands we mock lifted.  The instructor says you dont need the weights if you just keep your muscles tight.  Thats what we did.  In the future I do plan to purchase weights though.  Lateral side body lifts are the devil!  I will let you know that!  After our reps we ended up doing another set of LSBL's and I did 13 on each side!  I was so proud.  Usually after exercising you feel wore out, exhausted and especially for someone who hasn't exercised in FOREVER.  Today I actually felt recharged, amped and ready to do more!  I cant wait to see what tomorrow brings!  Luv You Rachel!!!
